I have stayed at Takamatsu Clement Inn on serveral occasions. I was already a frequent visitor to the region before this hotel opened. The location ofthe Clement Inn is perfect for arrival by train or highway bus (e.g. from Kobe) / arriving by ferry / travelling to several beuatiful islands by ferry / walking to see wonderful Ritsurin Garden (e.g. at dawn) / visiting the castle just opposite by the seaside / activities such as walking, jogging, shopping and finding restaurants that serve the execllent "sinuki" udon and other dishes. I asked and it appears that many of the staff are local to the region. The staff were consistently courteous, calm, friendly, and (when asked) informative. I will certainly stay at the Takamatsu Clement Inn again. Overall Takamatsu is a charming small city. The "Seto Naikai" (inland sea) and its islands are among my favourite places on earth. Tranquil, serene, relaxing during any season of the year.

first time staying in JR Clement inn, and I am staying in the one Takayama. it's only 2 mins walk from JR station, bus station and highway bus station which is very convenient. I have a very good memory. Room is spacious, Lobby is nice, free coffee and tea available, choice of amenities are good in quality and variety. House keeping is very good, everything is clean, neat and tidy. Staffs are very polite, helpful and friendly. The public bath area is clean, spacious and the dressing room light is very good and comfortable, the light is good for makeup too. yet it is not onsen, but the hot bath is facing Takayama port, I took the bath oneday in day time and enjoy the sea view which is superb.

This was an unexpectedly good stay. We had booked it for convenience and its location close to the station and ferry, since we planned to do island excursions. The room was a little small, but adequate and very clean. The onsen was an unexpected delight, and we really appreciated this after long days of walking. It really is super convenient for the station and ferry. It has a Kombini on the ground floor, great for quick snacks, and also the Izakaya (pub/restaurant) on the ground floor was really great. Nearby is a super cute arts district of Kitahamacho with cafes and shops.

The hotel is located right in between the train station and the ferry terminal, so it is a great starting point for the area exploration. My room was spacious and clean, it had a fridge, an electric kettle, a tv set. You can get additional pillows or an iron/ironing board from the hallway. The staff speaks English. There are free drinks at the reception. A very good place to stay in Takamatsu.

Agnes

Great location across from the train station and if it's raining, like it was when we arrived, you can walk all the way under an awning. This is a very nice hotel, comfortable beds and a decent size room. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Large, relaxing sento on the 9th floor that we used every day. We would definitely stay here again and we really liked Takamatsu.
